V-44 World War 2
This is one of the early fighting knives of WW2 it has the black composition grips and is marked Collins & Co. No. 18.
This is identified as early because it had the rare brass rivets, opposed to the later ones with the steel rivets. The sheath looks to have been repaired or modified somewhat.

$300.00

V-44 Gung Ho Knife

This is the one all are looking for. This original Collins has the much sot after green horn handles, they look fine, but the GI put some brass wire over the grip I feel to give the knife more weight and a more sure grip in combat. Blade is marked and the original sheath is missing the very tip but otherwise its fine.

$545.00

MARK 2 U.S.M.C.
World War 2 Fighting Knife

This knife comes with the original sheath.
The knife is guard marked CAMILLUS N.Y. USMC
Refer to Coles book 3 page 91.
The knife is unsharpened and I feel it is in mint condition and they are very hard to find. This not a current reproduction or a humped up phony as so many are on ebay now.

$350.00
